This evening I’m listening to Blue Monday on the radio and finishing up this lovely *tiny* little pair of longies (wool pants used to cover cloth diapers – the wool serves as a water proof cover). The first of many to be made for Baby Moo. I just have to finish the chord and they’re all done!
What do you think?
A glimpse into my Blue Monday
Happy Blue Monday!
I just thought this was too great to pass up.
It is a beautiful morning here in Austin, and I’m feeling whimsical, just like this little blue loch ness monster. Thanks to kathrynivy.com for uploading it to Flickr, where I found it. The pattern can be found at hansigurumi.etsy.com.
Think I’ve got some designing and photograph taking in me today!
Okay, okay, I know, it’s not Monday… but for Christmas this year, I really want a ride on the Tardis… If you get it, you get it, and you can’t make fun, because you’re a total dork, just like me. **smiles**
Words cannot describe the sadness and heartache we have had since the last time I posted, exactly one week ago. Without divulging all of the details, in respect for the family, two very dear souls moved on from their earthly bodies last Monday. We miss them dearly, but know that we will meet again with them someday out in the cosmos…
And so, on this dreary, damp afternoon I find myself feeling particularly blue… but somehow I am finding comfort in the cool hues of this lovely yarn by SpringtreeRoad.
Much love and light,
Girasole. The circular blanket.
Just barely blue, but one of the most beautiful pieces of knitting I’ve seen in a long time.
Mesmerizes me like a mandala.
I have been day-dreaming about making one of these for awhile now… maybe after the holidays…
For the second installment of Blue Monday, I’ve found this beautiful, lacy little number. I just love the way it hangs! Makes me want to make something delicate.
